6. Use Cold Compression
Using the cold compression technique can help to decrease the symptoms of headaches.
Studies carried out on some women showed that applying cold gel or ice packs can relieve migraine pain.
This can help decrease inflammation, reduce neural conduction, and constrict blood vessels supplying blood to the head, reducing or eliminating headaches.
To make a cold compress:
· Fill a waterproof bag with ice.
· Wrap it with a soft piece of cloth or towel.
· Apply the compress to the pack of the head, neck, or between the forehead and ear.
